Thanks Marlon :) I think there are some issues we can raise in JIRA around some of the points you raised about having the developers list in the pom etc. I'm not sure about the sha512 since I think this is what maven generates for you and I dont' know if there are any params in the release plugin that we can change to do this. As for the artifact names, is this something that can be changed in the pom or is it the apache/apache pom that is enforcing this. The artifact group ids are under org.apache.taverna so we are pushing the apache brand from this aspect. Maybe something to note in JIRA that we can look at in the futur e.
