Michael Lum commented on THRIFT-976:
------------------------------------
Hi Arun,
I only implemented the buffered and framed transport, and not the file
transport. Someone would need to port the TFileTransport code from C++ to C,
but I can't really find any documentation for the on-disk format, nor how it
handles endianness - is it expected that these files should be portable between
architectures? I would expect that in the spirit of Thrift that it would be
portable.
