Hi Michael,
I'm dealing with lots of legacy systems, that use c, C++, java, erlang (?) etc.
on linux, windows, sparc (?), vax(gasp!) ... I guess figuring out endianess
can be an issue. Maybe you can call the os read/write methods? That should
suffice for our purposes. Thanks for working on this.
