Hello, I do not know if to file this as a Thrift bug or somewhere else, forgive
me if it is the wrong place to file this issue.
I am automating the installation of thrift in some of our build servers and I
noticed that the md5 file that accompanies the download has a format that is
not accepted by md5sum.
Normally the md5 file content will be something like:
662cc3e028e59bdf7ebe280826587dc1 *apache-tomcat-7.0.16-deployer.tar.gz
Thrift, while still providing the md5 in a file with this format:
MD5 (thrift-0.9.1.tar.gz) = d2e46148f6e800a9492dbd848c66ab6e
This makes the use of md5sum tool (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Md5sum)
impossible.
Can you guys please fix your md5 files in the following repositories?
http://archive.apache.org/dist/thrift/ and
https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/release/thrift/ ??
