Hi,
[~erikeah]: since there was no activity on the pull request
([https://github.com/apache/thrift/pull/2930)] and finally got closed (was ok
since the pull would have introduce some serious bugs, it seems that some ai
was involved in code generation ... ), i now have implemented it myself. Should
i make a new Jira issue or just link the pull request to this opened issue?
