That .pom file exists (I can view it in Firefox), but that's just a
summary file with information on where to *actually* get the code. It
says it's "Downloading" but it never manages to complete and say it's
"Downloaded".
Hmm, I can't see plexus as a direct dependency of Tika. I guess perhaps
it's a dependency of a dependency, but perhaps one of our maven gurus
could confirm?
If anyone can think of a different approach we might use; or source for
plexus-1.0.8; or just point us in the right directions, that would be
terrific.
This does feed into earlier discussions on the lack of a binary release.
Maybe we should have one that is just:
* tika parser + core + app
* the tika documentation
* all the dependency jars (probably the ones that get put into the tika
bundle?)
That way people not using maven can easily grab the tika jars and all the
dependencies they need?
