There have been discussions in the past about release notes and
CHANGE log - in reality the release notes page is generated from
the change log, I usually hand craft it. In addition, I generate a
contributions report, and then include the list of people on the
Tika web page.

I will seriously make time for a 1.6 RC by the early next week if
no one beats me to it.
