Nick Burch commented on TIKA-3408:
----------------------------------

What date do you think is in the MP3 that you aren't getting? The ID3 tags
include a release year of 2012, which we map to {{xmpDM:releaseDate: 2012}} ,
is there some other date in there that we are missing?

For the MP4 file, we are pulling out {{dcterms:created: 2014-02-26T04:54:58Z}}
and {{dcterms:modified: 2014-02-26T04:54:58Z}} - are those dates wrong? (Those
match the dates + times that ffmpeg reports for the file)

>             Project: Tika
>          Issue Type: Bug
>          Components: core, parser
>    Affects Versions: 1.26
>            Reporter: Danny McKinney
>            Priority: Minor
>
> Currently parser is returning incorrect date information form mp3 files and
> mpeg4 files. Our sample is returning date fields with epoch date values which
> start at 1904. Also the mp3 file is not returning date value although one is
> part of the header information. I have attached sample program and data files.
