Hello,

This month Apache TinkerPop did not graduate from the incubator due to "brand
management issues." The release of Planet TinkerPop was considered a faux pax
and has since been rectified. After numerous conversations with the Apache
board, Apache trademarks, mentors, and the PMC, we figured out a path forward
which allows the community to benefit from the content that was at Planet
TinkerPop but being published by Apache TinkerPop -- ensuring a single location
for all that is, will be, ...forever, The TinkerPop. The following content has
been blessed by Apache trademarks as not being in violation of their policies
and now we bring this content to you, dev@, for a review and discussion.

        http://tinkerpop.apache.org
          http://tinkerpop.apache.org/gremlin.html
          http://tinkerpop.apache.org/providers.html
            http://tinkerpop.apache.org/policy.html

On Friday (April 29th) http://planettinkerpop.org will redirect to
http://tinkerpop.apache.org and thus, cease to exist.

Notes to various stakeholders:

* If you were previously a "graph system vendor" at Planet TinkerPop, please
review the representation of your project at
http://tinkerpop.apache.org/providers.html. If you no longer wish to have a
reference to your system (or desire tweaks), please advise accordingly.

* If you were planning on writing an article for Planet TinkerPop please
publish it elsewhere. However, as before, do send us URLs to your content so
that we can add it to the publications section of Apache TinkerPop
(http://tinkerpop.apache.org/#publications). Note that the current articles at
Planet TinkerPop will be published elsewhere and linked to accordingly by
Friday.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We hope you see how
wonderful it is that we are able to integrate Planet TinkerPop into Apache
TinkerPop. I think our homepage is now top-notch as far as Apache projects go.

Thank you,
Marko.
