Your pull request will most likely be ignored. I've tried that approach as
well but since TomEE has not moved over from svn to git, it doesn't make
sense yet.

I've used the git svn mirror to check out the code and keep it updated.
When submitting contributions I've created a corresponding svn patch for
the change set which I've then attached to the associated JIRA issue for
any of the committers to evaluate and to commit.
