This update should probably also be aligned or include the JAXB update -> Jakarta EE Maven coordinates because CXF does that too.
I have already done some work on the JAXB. There are several pom.xml dependency updates and exclusion changes just for JAXB (it affects activation.jar too). So my Jakarta JAXB 2.3.2 PR that I will submit shortly should be a pre-requisite to CXF 3.3.0.
