I created that .ini file. Now I am running the configure script as ////////////////////////////////// $ ./configure --with-cl-home=/cygdrive/c/program\ files/Microsoft\ Visual\ Stud io\ .NET/Vc7/bin --with-asm-home=/cygdrive/c/program\ files/Microsoft\ Vi sual\ Studio\ .NET/Vc7/bin --with-jdk-home=/cygdrive/c/program\ files/Jav a/j2re1.4.2 --with-unzip-home=/cygdrive/c/cygwin/OOo_1.1.4_source/win32 /////////////////////////////////
Can you please try (on one long line): $ ./configure --with-cl-home="/cygdrive/c/program files/Microsoft Visual Studio .NET/Vc7/bin" --with-asm-home="/cygdrive/c/program files/Microsoft Visual Studio .NET/Vc7/bin" --with-jdk-home="/cygdrive/c/program files/Java/j2re1.4.2" --with-unzip-home=/cygdrive/c/cygwin/OOo_1.1.4_source/win32
And report the output.
I tried escaping " " as you said but even that did not help.
Now because I earlier had .NET 2003 then got 2002 could that be the reason of the errors or something else.
I'm not sure if this means that you already tried what I said above, just report back what output you get with the command given above.
