Hi all,
When using DirectX 9.0 SDK (February 2005), the only available from 
Microsoft now, you must also download and install:

DirectX 9.0 SDK Update - (February 2005) Extras
which includes the required strmif.h and strmiids.lib
But then, if you set --with-directx-home with the appropriate default 
value. For example:

--with-directx-home="/cygdrive/c/Program Files/Microsoft DirectX 9.0 SDK 
(February 2005)/Extras/DirectShow"

set_soenv will hang cygwin perl while processing this line. (Parenthesis 
in path?)

So we have to:
a) fix set_soenv
b) warn users to not install DirectX 9.0 SDK (February 2005) in the 
default directory.
