Thanks! I had to replace the hard disk in my OOo build box tonight, so I
haven't had time yet to experiment with it, but I'll definitely check
out that linkoo tool!

You do need an installed OOo, but you can solve part of the problem using
links. Take a look at linkoo in solenv/bin. That links many of the libraries in
your build tree to your existing installation.
