AFAIK there exist only some ideas at the moment on how to solve the
problem but there is no concrete plan. The same is btw. also true for
other items on that page, as is mentioned in the introduction on the
page. But some of these items would at least be much easier to implement
on a new codeline than on the existing SRC680.
