[tools-dev] SVN read-only trees?

With the repeated---hardly infrequent---erroneous commits to trunk and 
tags (anybody else scanning [EMAIL PROTECTED] for those?), I wonder whether it 
would not be a good idea to prod the SVN developers to introduce a 
read-only concept for specific parts of a repository (if that is not 
already available, anyway).
