In the IPython world, there exist(ed) a Java kernel:
https://github.com/Bachmann1234/java9_kernel . For Spark, Java is one of the
key core languages. Given the existing support for Scala, and taking into
account no native REPL for Java, is there a possibility of a Java kernel in the
near (or any) future?
