Hello Contributors The following actions were done recently with reference to Apache Trafodion
JIRA activity: 1. Issues that were closed or resolved in Apache Trafodion 2,3 is marked as released in JIRA. 2. The pending issues were moved from Apache Trafodion 2.3 to Apache Release 2.4. Git 1. Release 2.4 'branch release2.4' is now created. 2. You may please create a pull request against R2.4 if the change is intended to be merged to Apache Trafodion release 2.4. Otherwise, you can create against the master. I have created a Cenos 6 Virtual Machine in my windows laptop and followed the steps to create build environment and made the release package. It worked like a gem except a small hitch where ICU package download link needs to be updated. This change has been already merged into Trafodion. I will be creating a release candidate soon after I am done with the testing of release 2.4 in my workspace. We need to discuss how check PR and daily builds (at least builds when needed) can be done in the absence of testing setup provided by Esgyn US.
