Hi Daryl,

Nah, I'm not frustrated. I'm just trying to invest my time and the time of
others as good as I can. If there's nobody working on this project and nobody
is interested, there's no need to keep on looking vor volunteers to write
reports. No need for incubator folks and the board to read them.

I sense a great deal of frustration and resignation in your statements. It is
unfortunate that most can predict the outcome of this appeal. We need to ask a
very basic question: What is the incentive for people to contribute training
material? The recipient of the training material definitely benefits. Other
than appealing to altruism, what is the incentive for the developers of the
training material to commit? I think a beguiling incentive for committing
training material must be marketed heavily. I wish I knew how to identify that
incentive. I know the incentive must compete against the knowledge that
training material is a sellable, profitable commodity.

Can I ask how would a person like me easily find the materials that have been
committed? I think once they are marketed well, are relevant, and made easily
accessible, there is a chance of building enthusiasm for this project from the
developer community up. Relevant, Accessible and Marketed effectively are the
criteria for survival.

How can I help? Please contact me via my e-mail or linked-in

Best Regards,
Daryl

Hi all,

I guess we've missed the report this time ... I think in general we should
discuss if it's worth continuing to keep this project or not.
Right now all activity happening here is based on who's doing the next board
report. I'm trying to keep the tools up to date and regularly update things,
but that's about it ...

What do you think?

If there are people that think it's worth keeping it and which become a bit
more active, I would support that.
If not, I think I'll simply keep on maintaining my own version of the tools and
we should send this project to the attic.

Chris
