Hi,

I'll merge the fix for TUSCANY-2498 into 1.3 branch.

Thanks,
Raymond

This runs fine for me both before when the distribution was built and
trying again now, both times with a clean repo with both Sun and IBM JDKs so i
guess it must be some environment thing. I'm on WinXP what are you using? Did
this work for you with RC1?

      Hi,

I tried to build the 1.3 tag from scratch and ran into a blocker as
reported by https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TUSCANY-2498.

      Thanks,
      Raymond

Please review and vote on the release artifacts for the Tuscany SCA for
Java 1.3 release.

The artifacts are available for review at:
http://people.apache.org/~antelder/tuscany/1.3-RC2/

This includes the signed binary and source distributions, Maven staging
repository, and eclipse update site.

The SVN tag for the release is:

  Hi

What's the state of play here? I see there was a lot of activity on Friday
after I signed off, e.g. [1]. It seems that people got the build working but
the JIRA that was raised [2] is still outstanding?

  Simon

I'm leaving the vote open for a bit in the hope of getting some more reviews
comments.

The fix in trunk for T2498 has not yet been applied to the 1.3 branch though
from [1] its probably ok to do that now. It wasn't clear if the problem
building binding-ws-axis2 described in that other thread you reference happens
in the 1.3 branch, i'd guess it probably does, and there is no fix yet in trunk
for it.

Building the tag is just one part of the release so would be nice to get some
more reviews before respining an RC3 in case there are other issues considered
as blocking problems.
