I'm using a local patch to work around this for now. I'm OK to carry
on doing that for the next day or two. If the real fix is likely to
take longer than that, it might be good to get the workaround checked
in so that anyone else trying to build and run this code doesn't trip
over the same issue. I have built and run the other parts of the
travel sample (using both the ant build and the non-distribution
maven build) and this seems to be the only major issue.
