Maybe we shouldn't be concerning ourselves with scenarios where there is a JSE client loading an OSGi runtime. I.e. stick with a JSE runtime for JSE client and and OSGi runtime for OSGi clients.
Having said that there's a lot of reflection going on in the equinox launcher when the node is created, the NodeProxy for example, and I'd like to understand what's going on there. Who knows about that? Simon
