I plan to do it in trunk. I'm not sure if we really need to copy it to the
1.6 branch because the intension is to release it separately on top of
Tuscany 1.6 (or 1.6.1) instead of being part of a Tuscany release.

How about having trunk depending on the 1.x-SNAPSHOT, and copy it to
1.6 branch and switch the dependencies there ?
Also, we are waiting for a release of OpenEJB to fix some issues, and
I have plans to have a 1.6.1 release when that is available, mainly in
support of the TravelSample application.
Thoughts ?
