Is it possible that we do a quick 1.0.1 release by fixing the pom to use
the central repo instead?
It's possible, but it seems far easier to restore some files that were
deleted without anyone in Tuscany having agreed to this or even knowing
that it was going to happen. The problem isn't in the travel sample; it
was caused by the files being removed without prior notice or discussion.

Complaining here won't even get the proper attention of the infra
guys. We should send a e-mail to infrastructure@ list and ask for the
reasons and the implications of these actions.
OK, I'll do this now.

I didn't see any emails so assume you hadn't done this yet so i asked
on irc for the permissions of the tuscany directory to be reset, and
thats been done now.

I sent an email to infrastructure@ and copied it to the Tuscany dev
list. I received the dev list copy by email in the normal way, so I'm
a bit surprised that you didn't. (I've noticed that these emails
occasionally go astray.) The subject was "Tuscany releases removed
from m2-ibiblio-rsync-repository."
Now that the permissions have been reset (thanks!) I can fix this myself.
I won't be able to do it until this evening UK time. I'll just copy
the 4 files needed by the travel sample.
