Please find below the first draft of the first report to the Incubator
project (and PMC) for inclusion in their report to the ASF board.
This report is due to be submitted soon (approx this week).
Please review, and if you have any questions and/or remarks please post
these to this thread for consideration and/or inclusion.

Apache Tuwen is a set of libraries and other tools to aid development of
blockchain and other decentralized software in Java and other JVM languages.
## Project Status:
After a rocky start regarding the project’s name search in the
pre-onboarding stage, the project was established on 2019-03-25 and took of
getting all required INFRA services in place.
The project consists of a healthy number of mentors (6) and committers (15)
The community (including our mentors) came together to discuss actions to
be taken and worked to get additional information pages (e.g. on the
incubator site) in play (and up to date), and sees activities regarding
the code base increasing on the git side.

## Activity since last report:
This is our first report since being established as an incubating project.
We therefore refer to the Project Status section to highlight activities
done.
##Plans for the near future:
The project is working on updating the Incubator clutch details, getting
its first release, while incubating, vetted and released.
The project is also working on getting more body to the whole set of
information pages (website, wiki, etc.)

To date the project has not released anything, as this is the first month
in incubation.
