Jens Grivolla commented on UIMA-2121:
-------------------------------------
Also, I assume there will need to be a shell script to launch it, at this point
usage is:
java -jar PearInstallCLI.jar -f <PEARNAME> [-d <INST_DIR>] [-v] [-c]
I'd guess that "java -jar PearInstallCLI.jar" will be changed to
"installPear.sh" or something like that...
Also, I just checked and noticed that I don't have a fully working POM for
building it. I define the dependencies in the pom.xml file, but actually build
the jar in Eclipse using "export -> runnable jar file" as I didn't get around
to defining the main class in the POM, etc.

> There should be a way to install PEARs without having to use the GUI
> PearInstaller. This is especially important when installing all needed PEARs
> for a project, or doing a clean reinstall.
