I haven't tried it, but from looking at the code it is quite clear that the
InstallPearCli.java uses the argument segmentation provided by the calling
shell. My guess is that passing the arguments through runPearInstallerCli.sh
and from there through runUimaClass.sh somehow unescapes the spaces and the
command line arguments end up segmented differently.
Could you try calling the Java class directly and see if it works?
