src zips and tars compare ok, and match the svn.

The src distr is missing a "NOTICE" file (NOTICE.4src doesn't qualify - there has to be a NOTICE (preferred), or NOTICE.txt file).

NOTICE.4sdk has duplicate entries (not a blocker, but duplicates should be
removed).

NOTICE.4src and ...4sdk have wrong copyright end date at top (should be 2012).

Not a blocker, but I would recommend renaming ...4sdk to ...4bin

Not a blocker, but the top line in README.4src says "See the NOTICE file for licensing information." How come this is there? It seems confusing - shouldn't one see the LICENSE file for licensing info?

The README.4src says on
line 10: 64-bit builds ... tested on Linux with gcc 4.3.2
line 12: 64-bit builds ... only tested on Linux with gcc 4.1.0 (inconsistent with above)

I think the building section should be amended to clarify the platforms where it's been tested (perhaps include MacOS, which is mentioned below?)

Add for Windows building: Requires Microsoft Visual Studio (not Visual Studio Express), version 2005 or later. Instructions to build from the command line mean the special command line set up within Visual Studio.

It cleans up the source distribution, and contains updates to the licence
and notice files.

Please test and report any issues or problems you find.

Thank you.
