Fix Version/s: 2.4.1SDK
Fixed by removing "updating" path for new file descriptor which was getting
NPE. NPE caused because updating path was for style of the CPE which used
"Include"; however, (depending on some preferences) the descriptors, once
"saved", are stored in the preferred style using "Imports" (since v 2.1).
There is no need to "update" the CR in place; so the change first resets the
existing CR to null, and then uses the code path which creates the proper CR.
