Regression: with automatically detected indexes, the annotation-based indexes
are no longer used: the top-level createPrimitive hands down the auto-detected
indexes, so the bottom-level createPrimitive sees indexes configured and
consequently ignores the annotation indexes. The logic is obviously flawed
here.
