1. improve console logging: debug, enter, exit, success, fail
2. use timeout for (most) ajax call of 25 seconds
3. add fail + console logging thereof for (most) ajax calls
4. don't access datatables (causes invalid reference error on browser console)
when in classic mode
5. add more protection for (many) javascript functions called too rapidly ...
insure at least 5 seconds has gone by
6. discard auto refresh request (each 30 seconds) if previous one has not yet
finished
