UIMA C++ framework & SDK

Hello,

I have been using the Apache UIMA version 2.4.0 in C++ and had a lot of 
fun with it so far. However, I am now trying to install it on an Ubuntu 
14 system (in the past I used Ubuntu 12), and I am running into major 
problems as UIMA relies on the ICU 4.8 package, but Ubuntu 14 has the 
ICU 5.2 library. Also APR is out of date in the old system. I have been 
trying to run everything with two versions of the libraries but this 
causes a lot of other problem. So I am wondering whether you plan on 
updating the C++ UIMA package anytime soon.
