Forgot to add, unlike all previous versions of UIMA-AS, startBroker.sh detaches from the broker process so that it is no longer possible to kill the broker with ctl-c. This seems like a good thing, but now it would be nice to have a stopBroker.sh utility, unless there are good reasons to make killing the broker more difficult.
