In my opinion, the dependency between the projects is not so problematic.
uimafit-core is more uimaj-core than the case editor ;-)
Yes, but this would lead to reimplementing the uimaFIT functionality. Hmm well,
there is also the thing that we would need to ship uimaFIT in a plugin, e.g.,
uima-runtime.
This issue would also require some changes in uimafit-core since the factory
does not accept custom classloaders, i.e. MetaDataUtil.resolve()
Maybe reimplementing it in the cas editor becomes a reasonable solution ;-)
