found that Jiras https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/UIMA-5273 and
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/UIMA-5208 were incorrectly marked as fixed
in 3.0.0-alpha.  Changed the Jira to 3.0.0-beta. 

This means these two issues show up as "fixed" in issues-fixed, but they are not
included...  I don't consider this a blocking issue to the release, given its
alpha status.
