Yeap, I think it is definitely better to use the perl SDK to deal with Nova
Compute. Also, it would be better to use the OpenStack UUIDs for terminating
instances instead of using the IP addresses. There are possible IP address
issues(e.g., the dhcp server down). I also agree that adding the OpenStack UUID
field to the computer table is one of the choices we can think now. Because the
OpenStack can support both VMs and the baremetal provisionings soon.
