Young-Hyun commented on VCL-590:
--------------------------------
Hi Will,
As you know, VCL can support various provisioning modules such as bare metal
module(xCAT2.pm), VMwre, and libvirt modules. The two files are also VCL
provisioning modules for OpenStack. The openstack_euca2ool.pm uses the
euca2ools (APIs compatible with Amazon AWS service) to offer native APIs for
administrator interaction with OpenStack, while the openstack_nova_api.pm uses
the native OpenStack Nova APis to do the same interactions. For example, if you
have an OpenStack environment, then VCL can provisioning images, terminate
instances, and capturing running instances in your OpenStack environment
through the modules. I am not sure whether this is not enough for your
question. Just let me know if this is not clear to you.
Thanks,
Young-Hyun
