Dear devs,
Velocity has a crical bug (
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/VELOCITY-718 ). The bug would
reproduced at application startup often. Our site is a huge traffic, when
we restart application, The bug cause hanged up on MethodMap's
hashmap.get(). when does release the bug fix branch (1.6.x) that I want
to know. Maybe I can compile the branch by myself, but I can not find bug
fix list info of 1.6.x since version1.6.2. Could guys show me the bug fix
list?
Velocity is a great open source project, I had to say:"Thank you, all
guys, you are great". These days, I read velocity source code, I found some
Cache or other data structures are not thread safe. As we know velocity
selects to render web page more and more. Thread safe are important, devs
would be take it more carefully.
