The 2.5 release is in progress. It should happen very soon, now.
Yes, the final module is now named {{spring-velocity-support}}, and targets
both spring 6.x and 7.x, while the old module has been renamed
{{spring5-velocity-support}}.
Concerning the spring boot support: it rather targets the next velocity-tools
release (4.0). And yes, we'll try to take it under consideration.
