Assuming that you see this running on the cmd line, 2 potential reasons that
come to mind are:
1) the functionality is not public in Hyracks (but you probably checked that)
and
2) the functionality was introduced in a more recent version of Hyracks.
VXQuery currently depends on Hyracks 0.2.16-incubating. Version
0.2.17-incubating was released recently and the directory that you point to in
GitHub is on the current master which is quite a bit ahead of 0.2.17-incubating.
