I think many people has contribute to this topic and many are comming to agree with some aspects of the website. I think that we should start talking about an implementation date for the website. This is important so we can 'move forward'. I think the developers (guys who have access to the code) should schedule the day and announce it on the list so we all come to a general agreement.
Feedback please.
In just over a week the issue of invigorating the home page has occurred amongst a few people. Taking time zones and the various stake holders in to account, e.g. NL projects, this is a little time. With the result of similarly reworked pages.
Wrt to deadlines, I don't think we should make them up along the way, but decide and work towards them. If it is 2.0, we have a while yet, but I think in the meantime can replace the image if there are some suggestions in the repository. If not, then even when 2.0 is available, 2.0 is only going to be news for a little while and we will need new images.
I intend to invite a lot more people to comment and submit ideas. Aren't you?
