Earlier last week week [1] I suggested 28 January a deadline for informal critique of proposals by this group. After that a two-week window for review by the project leads (project_leads@), leaving us 14-15 of February or so.
I would like to keep that schedule. To date we have one rather nice proposal that most of us like. Maarten had stated shortly before the weekend he would submit another proposal, one that sought to address the problems differently. Both Kay and I agreed on this deadline. That does not mean we should stop work on the favorite. Far from it, and I thought I had communicated that.
