Hi As I said a while ago, I'll be making small, pretty much acepted changes to the HP to make it easier for users and others to find things.
What I have done so far is move Awards to About Us (sorry Tam!) and highlight it there. I added the Documentation project link to Resources. (BTW, the Press Kit is still linked from About Us page.) I have (left navbar) also renamed the "Articles..." to "What's New" and renamed "Bugs and Issues" to "Report a Bug", as it is clearer, anyway. We used to shy away from collapsing all issues to bugs, but I think people who use the left navbar from the HP are not really about to quibble. Some other changes I'll be making--provided they are okay--is removing "licenses" and "guidelines." The reason they are there is, I think , b/c Sun wanted them there. I have to check with Stefan whether that obtains or I'm simply mis-remembering. Either way, they are clearly linked from About Us & Introduction. (Guidelines is pretty important for all members of OOo, btw.) As to the "Contributing" issue. I'd like to get on that and have but one Contributing element on the site. The Development page is mentioned in Contributing... but before I act on the idea that Christian is promoting, I want to make sure that it is politically feasible. It may just be necessary to more prominently promote Development page in Contributing directory--or do nothing.
