Which might be worth a re-consideration. I mean, the project as a whole doens't lack users of the product. It lacks contributors (with different severity in different areas, of course). Thus, focusing on users only on the main entry page might be jumping too short. Users are the final goal, sure. But without a strong community, comprised of much more than users only, we won't win them on the long term. So, I think www.openoffice.org, as *the* entry point to the project, should make it easier for all kinds of community members to find what they're looking for. Not that I really had good ideas how this would look like in detail ...
