Hi Ivan,
Some issues I'd resolve before getting the design life:
* Positioning of the content of the main page
You have a line between the logo and the positioner, could you
position the content, at least of the main page, in such a way that the
content is as far from the left side as the positioner... (that would mean
indeed a move to the right now, and more empty white space left, but it
will make the page look more stable (it doesn't have to be a grid layout
per se, but some of the ideas behind grid layouts are good practice))
* Footer:
Instead of having blue links (yes I know Don Norman (usability
specialist) loves blue links), I'd use white links. Yes I know, low
contrast, bad to read... that's exactly why i propose it :) ... it's
grabbing too much attention right now. Focus should be on the action
statements.
* Top right links:
I'm not sure about this suggestion, but try moving them more to the
top, and more to the right. They're kind of hovering in nothing now. Maybe
imagine an imaginary line from the right part of the most right tab, and
use that to align the links to from the right hand side, and align the
bottom part of the text to an imaginary horizontal line
touching the top of the separating line between the logo and the
positioner text.
I wrote to Louis, that we should be able to manage changing the current
site to this style this weekend.

Maarten
