directories by language-code. I've translated the Extensions page, but when I go to create the link in the template to my translated page:

VI/Extensions

which IIRC is the syntax now, I don't get "http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/VI/Extensions";, for some strange reason I get "http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/w/index.php?title=VI/Extensions";.

In the template, I'm using the link syntax [[VI/Extensions|VI]]. Is this correct?

In the Template:Extensions_languages page, the syntax you're looking for is: [[vi:VI/Extensions]]

I've added the VI link, and it works... well it points to an empty page right now located at VI/Extensions. You should be able to load your translated page in the "right" spot now.

The rest of the languages in the template are using [[Extensions_nn]], where "nn" is the language code, and that creates the page "http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Extensions_nn";. But I think that is no longer the approved format.

I would say it is not preferred but, if that is how the pages are created, that's fine. We can look at using a WikiBot to move them if it is necessary at some point. For now, there is no need to change them. This is something I'd like to bring up with the L10N leads at some point... but that's a subject for a different email thread.
