Hi,
I'm preparing some updates for the download-links of OpenOffice.org and
I need some help to verify the the first draft of the pages.
Background: OpenOffice.org download numbers are increasing and our
current solution based on Bouncer is limited so we want to switch to
MirrorBrain. Therefor we have to adapt all download links to the new
mirror-system very smooth without any outage. First time we want to
start with the developer builds on download.openoffice.org/next/ and may
be the current 2.4.3 release page with lower traffic on it (estimated
time: end of the week or beginning next week). Later we switch the
www.openoffice.org and download.openoffice.org pages.
So, you can help me by testing:
* http://download.openoffice.org/test/index.html -> replacement for the
developer-downloads (plus added RC-test link)
* http://download.openoffice.org/draft.html -> replacement for
index.html on download.o.o
Note: Under some circumstances (language not available, download-set
moved etc.) we will get a 404-error because the download isn't present
on MirrorBrain, to verify this situation you can have a look directly on
the server http://download.services.openoffice.org/files/...
