Roy T. Fielding commented on WHIMSY-348: ---------------------------------------- Oh, right, that's based on the original proxy form. I can't even remember where I got it from. I think it is pretty clear that the three years is a statement of law, whereas the proxy assignment is what the person is signing to, but I had meant to simplify the whole process this year before shit happened. We should just hold this one until after the meeting. > Alter what proxies are listed, that are assigned to "you" > --------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: WHIMSY-348 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WHIMSY-348 > Project: Whimsy > Issue Type: Wish > Environment: proxy.cgi > Reporter: Greg Stein > Priority: Minor > > The proxy form says that it remains in force for (3) years. > The template states "act on my behalf" for $Meeting. > Which is correct? If the former, then I think the "who you proxy for" should > list *all* proxy forms that fall within that 3 year period. ie. Whimsy would > look back at prior years, and include additional lines for the cut/paste > attendance call. > If the latter is correct, then we should eliminate the (3) years language, > IMO. > -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.3.4#803005)
