Attendance by Proxy
===================
The ASF bylaws allow every member entitled to vote at a meeting of members
to authorize another person or persons to act for him/her by proxy.
All proxies shall be revocable.
Even if you plan on attending, you may designate a proxy to attend and
vote on your behalf by filling out the below form and submitting a
signed copy prior to the members meeting. You may do that by one of the
following means:
1) Submitting the web form https://whimsy.apache.org/members/proxy
2) Adding this completed form to the Foundation Subversion repository
under the directory Meetings/<%= meeting_directory %>/proxies-received
3) Delivering this signed form to your proxy. You should also send
a copy to the ASF secretary, via Email to <secret...@apache.org>.
Since all of our meeting votes are performed by online ballot, you may
choose to only have a proxy for attendance (roll call) or for both
attendance and voting by ballot. You should instruct the proxy on how
they should vote, including whether you want them to represent you on
all possible votes or just the ones regarding the issues prepared in
advance of the meeting.
