So the use-case here is that we might be using XmlSchema to do, say,
data binding, and want to check something like - a given element IS_A
xsd:string, when in fact it's a derived simple type like xsd:token?
That sounds potentially useful if we don't have a tidy way to do that
already.

Proposes that we model the basic type hierarchy of the built-in types.
My first reaction was negative, but the idea is growing on me. After
all, you can't usefully serialize the built-in schema to xml, so what
harm could be done here?
Has anyone else got an idea?
